THOTH ONLINE GROUP HEALING

Today Thoth is referred to as the God of Wisdom and knowledge. However, he is also God of Medicine, Learning, Magic, Truth and Lord of Time, and is strongly associated with the moon. All spoken and written language is attributed to him. His original name was Tehuti and he is often depicted as having the head of an Ibis or as a baboon. The Ibis is an ancient Egyptian bird, which flies over the lands protecting them. When it tucks its head under its wing, it forms the shape of a heart, and its long, curved beak is representative of a crescent moon. It is said that the stride of the Ibis measures one cubit – the measure used to build the Ark, ancient buildings and sacred temples. The baboon (often depicted holding a crescent moon) was seen as a nocturnal and intelligent creature.

Some say it was Thoth who spoke the sacred words to Ptah to enable him to create the Universe. Some traditions say he was the brother of the Sun God Ra and Uncle of Osiris and Isis. He is widely known as the king or High Priest of Atlantis. When Atlantis fell, it was Thoth charged with the task of travelling, along with other carefully selected elders to the ‘land of the hairy barbarians’, the land now known as Egypt, to set up a new civilisation. The craft they travelled in is said to be buried beneath the Sphinx.

“Fast we fled towards the sun of the morning, until beneath us lay the land of the children of Khem. Raging they came with cudgels and spears lifted in anger, seeking to slay and destroy the sons of Atlantis. Then I raised my staff and directed a ray of vibration, striking them still in their tracks, as fragments of stone of their mountain. Then I spoke to them in words calm and peaceful, telling them of the might of Atlantis, saying we were the children of the sun and its messengers. Cowed I them by my display of magic-science, until my feet they grovelled, when I released thee.”

Thoth and Isis are the two main Gods associated with magic and healing. The symbol of Thoth is the caduceus, which is now mainly associated with the medical profession in the west. It is the symbol of a wand with two serpents entwined around it with a winged disc at the top. The serpents cross at four points, which represent the four elements and their healing rays. (Reiki, Sakara, Sophi-El and Angeliclight) It also represents the rising kundalini energy, bringing about balance and duality, central to Egyptian Magic.

Some claim that it was Thoth who built the pyramids and the sphinx, changing the vibration of the stone to a higher frequency and levitating them into place. The pyramids being an antenna to connect with other planets and cosmic beings, and the sphinx guarding the Akashic records where al records of pre-history are stored.

Thoth is also said to have written the original Egyptian Book of the Dead, his consort Ma’at weighed the feather against the heart at the ‘Weighing of the Heart Ceremony’. He is also attributed to inventing the written word and is a particularly good deity to work with, if you have an application form to write or some other important document.

A later reincarnation saw him as the Greek God Hermes Trismegistus, when he wrote the Emerald Tablets, detailing the rise and fall of Atlantis. He is also known as Tehuti, Mercury and Odin.
